Here's a classic Basie-style blues in F, for your band to explore the style of one of the big band greats! A chorus of piano at the top, melody in the low voices and trumpets, a soft shout section, and a big sax soli are all included here. Lots of space to open up solo sections and have band members invent their own backgrounds. Written for the University of Idaho Jazz Band I.

"Linda" - $50 USD

A nice medium-swing chart, this tune is written with special attention given to each section of the band. Lots of room for soloing for alto, tenor, trumpet, or comping instrument. Fully voiced brass sections, sax solis, and low-voice melodies all lead to a classic big band shout section. Written for the University of Idaho Jazz Band I.
